Joy Rose at The Colony Theater

Stellar Theater at The Colony Theater in Burbank, CA:

Based on the true story of Ku Klux Klan member C. P. Ellis and civil rights activist (and mother) Ann Atwater, the play, “The Best of Enemies” by Mark St. Germain lit up the night last week at the Colony Theater in Burbank, California.

I flew out for the opening, and to see my brother David Rose direct this eye-opening tale. The play tells the story of two unlikely heroes during a period of America’s dark history of  forced school integration in the south.

The show, and its cast were magnificent. If you are in the area through Oct. 18th, I highly recommend you see this production. Its redemptive message is a boost beyond anything I expected. It is timely, moving, and especially relevant today.

They have started a twitter campaign called #WorthFightingFor

So tweet @ColonyTheater or find them on Facebook, but more importantly, GO SEE THE SHOW – I MEAN IT – ITS AMAZING #ILoveMyBrother
